History of Ferreries

Ferreries is a municipality located in the center of Menorca, known for its tradition and natural beauty. Ferreries has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, as evidenced by the archaeological sites in the surroundings, including the Talayotic settlement of Son Mercer de Baix. The most important festival in Ferreries is the Fiestas de San Bartolomé, celebrated at the end of August. These festivities include horse parades, live music, traditional dances, and fireworks.   • Cala Mitjana and Cala Mitjaneta: Two pristine coves with crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
  • Ets Alocs. Rocky beach in the north of the island
