From 1572 the different generations of the Valls family were owners of these lands (Can Pujades), expanding their buildings (Can Mascaró and Ca la Caterina) over the centuries and reaching the present day having overcome episodes of destruction during the civil war.
In 1967 the figure of the Virgin of Núria, a carving from the 12th-13th centuries, was hidden in Can Pujades. Finally, on January 28, 1972, the carving returned to the Sanctuary of Vall de Núria.
